      • Pacifyr does the marketing to get new clients, who are looking for certified coaches, instructors and counselors. We are always working to add new counseling centers, employers and organizations through our Holistic employee wellness program. The employers refer their employees to Pacifyr and they select coaches, instructors and counselors available on platform.
    • Can a provider bring own clients onboard to use the Pacifyr app?
      • Yes, our providers can save costs associated with the expense of office space rental,as well as administration costs. Many providers can take more clients when using the Pacifyr app, thereby, increasing their revenues.
    • Will a provider need to ask their clients about medical history?
      • if you are a certified and licensed counseling professional, you may ideally continue to follow regulated procedures as you do now. Pacifyr facilitates the platform use.
    • Will a provider need to ask each client their personal information such as age, gender, race, etc

    • Can a provider talk to another provider about their client if (they) the client is seeking different services? For example, if a client I am seeing wants to take yoga or meditation classes?
      • No, currently our app does not have this feature, but it will be included in a later version of Pacifyr.
    • How do a provider view the agreements before they Join Pacifyr?
      • The agreements are online, and are accessible for providers to view. Providers must accept the Terms and Privacy policy to be able to join the app.
    • How can Pacifyr help the provider to grow client’s base and stability?
      • Pacifyr mobile platform has nation wide coverage. This facilitates growth of users on the platform. Pacifyr also has an innovative feature, such as our $5/day chat to users. This help providers to increase their client base. Pacifyr has onboarded Employers to provide holistic employee wellness program to their employees. This brings multitude of users to the Pacifyr platform and helps to do short follow up sessions with clients or answer client’s short queries . Since we will be onboarding employers, there will be a predicted monthly revenue Once you elect to provide service under this feature, your profile will be open to chat from new users and existing users. Existing users are ones who avail services from you.
    • How do a provider charge for services on the Pacifyr app?
      • Provider can charge based on their independent hourly rate as declared by them on the platform.
    • How do providers get paid and at what frequency?
      • Providers are paid weekly based on the amount earned after deducting the platform charges as per agreement.
    • What if the initial free 30 minutes session goes over and the person no longer has any minutes to use?
      • Clients can add their credit card information after the free 30 minutes to continue the session.
    • Does Pacifyr have liability insurance to provide for all their contractors?
      • Yes, we have our own liability coverage. But all providers must have their own insurance coverage too. If you don’t have any coverage yet, Pacifyr can provide Referrals of insurance providers with low rates.
    • How does the onboarding work?
      • You can submit online application with proof of certification, license to practice in the state of your preference and signed CAQH application. Our review and background process take 2-3 days. Once your approved you will be a registered Pacifyr on our platform.

      • a. Emergency Mental Health Crisis - A mental health emergency is a life threatening situation in which an individual is imminently threatening harm to self or others, severely disoriented or out of touch with reality, has a severe inability to function, or is otherwise distraught and out of control.

      • • Acting on a suicide threat
      • • Homicidal or threatening behavior
      • • Self-injury needing immediate medical attention
      • • Severely impaired by drugs or alcohol
      • • Highly erratic unusual behavior that indicates very unpredictable behavior and/or an inability to care for themselves
      • In-Patient- Inpatient treatment is often necessary when a patient has acute psychiatric problems such as clinical depression, schizophrenia, or other severe conditions. In these cases a hospital or mental health facility can provide an intensive, individualized program that combines psychotherapy and medication.
      • Partial Hospitalization (PHP) - Partial Hospitalization is a type of program used to treat mental illness and substance abuse. In PHP the patient continues to reside at home, but commute to a treatment center up to seven days a week.
      • Intensive Outpatient (IOP) - An Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is a primary treatment program recommended in some circumstances by a clinical and medical assessment. With an IOP you are able to establish a foundation for a long term recovery support in your local community right from the start of your treatment that accommodates work and family life.
      • Out-Patient- Counseling done in a place other than a hospital such as a private practice, counseling agency, counseling clinic etc.
      • LCSW- (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) - This is a social worker who is trained in psychotherapy who helps individuals deal with a variety of mental health issues. They are qualified to assess, diagnose, and treat mental and emotional conditions and addictions but cannot prescribe drugs. To become a LCSW you must hold a MSW (Masters in Social Work)
      • LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) - LPC's require a minimum of a Master's degree in Counseling along with post graduate supervised experience. LPC's also work in a collaborative approach User Friendly List of Terms
    • How do I sign up?
      • Download ‘Pacifyr’ mobile app from apple store OR google play and connect with the Provider of your choice instantaneously. No scheduling and no wait time.
    • How much does it cost to consult a Pacifyr?
      • Billing is based on the Pacifyr service rate per hour . There is an option to do chat for $5 per day. Employers have an attractive and reasonable subscription model.
    • How do I pay for the service?
      • Initially you need to enter credit card details and will be charged after the call for the minutes you avail the service. We don’t store any financial information of users.
    • Is the ‘Pacifyr ‘ Hipaa complaint and secure?
      • Yes, our platform is HIPAA compliant and your data is safe and secure.
    • What is an out of network benefit?
      • An out-of-network provider is one not contracted with your health insurance plan. This refers to service providers who are covered by your plan but not IN NETWORK. The insurance company will sometimes pay a percentage of what they determine to be “usual and customary.” An out of net work benefit is provided by the out of network provider.
    • Can I get an OUT-OF-NETWORK benefit?
      • Any service provided by an Out of Net work provider would still be paid by your Insurance company but on a case to case evaluation. Please call your insurance company verify for your eligibility. 800# usually on the back of the insurance card.
      • What information do I need for my insurance Company?
      • 1- Contact your insurance company to obtain a list of providers.
      • 2- Have your insurance card/info available.
      • 3- Be prepared to wait.
      • 4- Be patient. Ask your representative if you have “out of network benefits.”
      • 5- Write down any reference number, case number, and contact name.
      • What will I need from Pacifyr?
      • Pacifyr provides outpatient telehealth services. We will share you with a receipt of service provided by the provider. You can submit this to your insurance company for reimbursement based on your eligibility.
